The City of Bellingham, Parks and Recreation Department, is soliciting statements of qualifications from interested consulting firms to provide engineering, architectural and/or landscape architectural services for Squalicum Creek Park Phase Four project. The selected consultant shall provide the following design services plans, structural engineering, specifications, cost estimates, product information for each design phase from concept to 100%, environmental documentation and building permit assistance, bid phase services, and construction administration services, and any other services required to complete the project. Reference RFQ #59B-2019 for more information. Proposed Phase Four Park Improvements may include, but not be limited to, the following: un-lighted ballfield (with 320â outfield), related appurtenances (bleachers, dug outs, foul poles, bases, home plate, mound, outfield distance signs, etc.), backstop/fencing substantially similar to existing site backstop design, conduits for future lighting, sport field irrigation substantially similar to ballfield #2 (tied into existing controller), sport field drainage system substantially similar ballfield #2, stormwater basin designed to work with the siteâs native soil, park signage (ballpark, directional, wayfinding), extension of concrete paving, site restoration.
