The City of Tempe (City) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to establish a two (2) year contract with three (3), one (1) year renewal options for temporary sports officials to be used by the Community Services Department The successful Contractor will employ the sports officials. The Contractor will recruit, interview, select, train, and terminate all temporary employees under this contract. The City reserves the right to accept or reject all sports officials or other temporary employees submitted for consideration. The Contractor will provide the City with all application forms for sports officials. The Contractor will be responsible for all mailings of W-2 or 1099 forms to the temporary employees. The Contractor is also responsible for all liabilities related to the payroll function, i.e. federal tax deposits, any and all required reporting, etc.
