Description: NSN 4730-01-462-4023/HOSE EXHAUST CLAMP approved sources are: W.S. DARLEY & CO, P/N: 4402311. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. This NSN goes to various defense depot locations. There also a base and one option year which may or may not be exercised by the Government. FOB Destination and inspection acceptance at destination is required. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of April 6, 2012. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. There are no technical drawings/bid sets available. This NSN is a restricted source. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance. The required delivery is 60 days. Note 26, this item has been determined not to be a commercial part; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for this item. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
