This is an indefinite quantity type contract for one year base and one option year for NSN: 5920-00-271-3217. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available from the Government.  This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1).  Various Increments Solicited. Shipments will be to various DLA STOCKING LOCATIONS.   The Small Business size standard is 750 employees. Current approved manufacturers are Northrop Grumman (CAGE: 26512) P/N: GD512C1, DAYTON-GRANGER INC. (CAGE: 55635) P/N: 16305 and THE BOEING COMPANY (CAGE: 88277) P/N: 5D0148-1. This solicitation opens on 02/01/12 and closes 02/17/12.  The Government's requested delivery time is 118 days.  FOB and Inspection/acceptance requested is Destination.  The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government.  The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 2 years.  While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.  All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
