The purpose of this Announcement is to advertise that we intend to add NSN 2610-01-564-6172 onto commercial Contract SPM7L107D7002. This addition is an administrative change due to the fact that the FMTV tire is being given another NSN because the Goodyear tire has been approved for the Caiman LRIP while Michelin North America has not been approved. Michelin North America and Goodyear are both approved on NSN 2610-01-356-9098. The scope of this contract is for all Tire NSNs managed by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) related to Armor/Tactical Vehicles, vehicles, and equipment end-items application. This NSN follows under that scope. There will be no separate solicitation issued for this action. Specifications, plans, or drawings are not available. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).
