The City of Patterson Department of Engineering, Building, and Capital Projects is soliciting requests for bids for the construction of Sperry Avenue Improvements Project. SEALED BIDS will be received until 2:00 P.M. local time on December 21, 2022, by the Engineering, Building, and Capital Projects Department at the City of Patterson, 1 Plaza, Patterson, California 95363, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids shall be dropped off or mailed to the Engineering, Building, and Capital Projects Department of the City of Patterson, attention of Tiffany Rodriguez, Capital Projects Manager. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope on the forms provided in the Bid Book. The name of the bidder, the bidder’s state registration and DIR number, the name of the project, and the statement “Do Not Open Until the Time of Bid Opening” must be printed on the sealed envelope. Bids received after said deadline or without the required registration number will be returned unopened to the bidder. Description of Work The proposed work shall be performed in accordance with the plans, specifications and other contract documents and shall consist of the following General work description: The work is located on Sperry Avenue between American Eagle Avenue and Ward Avenue in the City of Patterson, California. In general, the Work consists of asphalt concrete removal and replacement where the existing pavement has failed, an asphalt overlay with pavement fabric, traffic signal detector loops, accessible ramp removal and replacement, and pavement striping and markings.
