This is a request for information only. This is not a request for quote/proposal and there is no solicitation package available at this time. The United States Air Force, 375 Contracting Squadron, Scott Air Force Base, IL is seeking sources to provide a Model WA-8-H Hammer Mill (or equal). Scott Air Force Base is conducting market research to determine the availability of businesses capable of providing the hammer mill for the purposes of shredding expended brass in order to recycle. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333120; Hammer Mill Machinery, Product Service Code (PSC) is 3450; Machine Tools, and the business size is 1,250 employees.

Description of Item
The contractor shall furnish a Model WA-8-H Hammer Mill (or equal) with the capability to deform and shred expended brass and aluminum ammunition cartridges ranging from 9x19mm up to 7.62x51mm. The shredder shall not have a footprint larger than 10 feet by 12 feet. The shredder will be installed at it's final location by government personnel so the vendor must provide detailed, step-by-step, instructions of final installation.

Qualifications
• Vendor must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM).
• If your SAM does not have NAICS 333120 associated, it is suggested you add NAICS Code 333120 to "Reps & Certs" in SAM. If not included in reps and certs or added, verification of size standard may be required via email.

Contract Type
The 375th Contracting Squadron is anticipating a firm fixed price contract.
