Code and Description:  67 – PHOTOGRAPIC EQUIPMENT

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. 

Synopsis/Solicitation N00178-18-Q-0200 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP).  The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. 

This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside. 

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a sole source basis to Newport Corporation; a spectroscopy system, for making broad-spectrum characterization measurements of infrared sensors.  Newport Corporation is located in Irvine, California.  See attached SF18, deliverables list, and government furnished property list for additional information.

Please include shipping/freight cost to Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12.  The order shall be firm fixed price.   

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
