PROJECT NARRATIVE Members of the community are usually the first response when violence erupts. Because of this, the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety has aggressively provided community bleeding control training throughout the region. Within this initiative, the Department of Public Safety staff have trained and equipped first responders including police, fire, school safety officers, school nurses, religious and community leaders as well as several community organizations. The Department of Public Safety trains 250-300 community members each year in the approved Community Stop-the-Bleed course as well as the NAEMT TCCC/TECC and Law Enforcement First Responder (LEFR) courses. Moving forward, these programs are expected to grow, making it necessary to purchase additional training equipment and supplies to support these community resilience programs. PROJECT DETAILS This project includes the purchase of pre-packaged training kits for community (layperson) bleeding control and first responder active shooter training as follows: Last day to submit questions, November 14th, by 3:00 PM In addition to uploading your pricing into Public Purchase, please upload the following as separate documentation; Appendix A, and a current W9lowhtlRO 221 28364 v dXeMEYbBR e zLFYOpCVf 556 39069919 Th229 DlQ2okB4x bw PpFLx AOkmZ axonw 8225733 xFHGO 8918517 A1 gvmn 6VNx4a un gIhayMutm
