The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a one-time, sole source, fixed price contract with (small business) Ocean Systems, 4016 Blackburn Lane; Burtsonville, MD 20866 for the procurement of additional software tools currently being utilized by the Government. Based on market research, Government experts in the field, and proprietary rights, it has been determined that only this continued maintenance of the software tool can be provided by Ocean Systems.

The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.  Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to the attention of:  Amy Lacy, email address: [email protected] by Thursday, March 8, 2012 at  10:00 am (Eastern).  Emailed responses will only be considered.  Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.  A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is at the discretion of the Government.
