In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Part 6.302-1, the US Environmental Protection Agency, Center for Environmental Solutions & Emergency Response, Groundwater Characterization & Remediation Division (GCRD) located in Ada, Oklahoma, intends to award a sole source fixed price purchase order for one (1) Base Year and four (4) Option Years to Brinkman Instruments DBA Metrohm USA, Inc. for purpose of a service maintenance agreement for government owned Metrohm Combustion Ion Chromatography (CIC) instrument. Metrohm USA and its employees are the sole distributor for factory new or factory remanufactured parts, local service representation and factory trained/certified engineers to provide service and installation for all instrumentation manufactured and sold by Metrohm. Metrohm USA is the sole authorized provider for on-site and remote support including manufacturer approved installation, training, repair services, live technical support and testing methodology needed for successful operation of said equipment. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis for this requirement; and is issued for notification purposes only. No known potential alternate sources exist which could satisfy GCRD¿s requirement.
