NSN: 5995-01-468-0688, Cable Assembly, Special Purpose. Three approved sources listed as Harris Corporation (14304), Airtronics (58078), and DCX Chol (27456). Inspection/Acceptance is at Origin, FOB at Destination. This NSN will be 50% SBSA, and 50% Unrestricted. THe unrestricted portion will be solicited as SPE4A6-13-R-0627. A Contractor FAT is required for 1 unit. THe delivery requested will be 120 days for FAT Report submission, 30 days government evaluation of FAT report. The production quantity will be required in 123 days after First Article Approval. Ship-to locations in the Continental US. This NSN is not coded as Commercial off the Shelf, and is NOT CSI. Surge and Sustainment does not apply to this procurement. The solicitation will result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for a base year and 4 one-year options. The unrestricted portion will be solicited witht the following quantities, and pricing will be evaluated on the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) which is 916 EA for the base and option years. The Guaranteed Minimum quantity is 229 EA and applies to the base year only. The following quantities apply to the base and option years: Minimum Stock Delivery Order 229 EA, Maximum Stock Delivery Order 916 EA, and the Maximum Total Contract Quantity is 9,165 EA. The estimated solicitation open date is 8/30/2013. The Reverse Auction provision will be included in the soliclitation. In the event that a Reverse Auction takes place, it will occur on the Procurex website, which can be accessed at: http://dla.procurexinc.com. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
