The "SPAWAR / Industry Conference 2003" will be held October 22-24, 2003, at the Bahia Hotel, Mission Bay, San Diego, CA. The annual event is co-sponsored by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command and the San Diego Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association. This year?s theme is "Architecting and Engineering FORCEnet." The conference will discuss technical and professional issues pertinent to SPAWAR, and is designed to familiarize private industry with SPAWAR; as well as, share issues of interest to both. Discussion topics will include contracting initiatives, organizational structure, and the programs of the Command. The briefing program will also include two social events: a reception, and an awards dinner.
