NOTICE OF INTENT:

The 502d Contracting Squadron intends to issue under FAR Part 12 a sole source purchase order to Robotronics, Inc. to provide the product of  Sparky Costumes for the Fire Prevention Division. This requirement is being requested by the 502 CES/CEF. A description of the requirement is the following:

Purchase 2 Sparky Complete Costumes-Non-Animated and 2 Deluxe Costume Carrying cases with reinforced soft sides.   

This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, but merely notification of the 502d Contracting Squadron's intent to issue, on a sole-source basis, a firm fixed-price purchase order to Robotronics, Inc. for providing the products of   Sparky Costumes for the Fire Prevention Division. Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 6.302-1, the Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Responses must be received by COB 16 September 2014.
