On or about 16 July, 2018, the 50th Contracting Squadron, intends to release a Source Sought Request for Information (RFI) for Nongovernmental Space Situational Awareness. The purpose of the RFI will be to collect market research and to announce a Nongovernmental Space Situational Awareness Industry Day to be held in Colorado Springs, CO. RFI responses will be due on or about 26 July, 2018.

The RFI will include a Draft Performance Work Statement, a list of questions used to gather market research and determine acquisition strategy, and Industry Day attendance information and guidance.

The RFI will be issued solely to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. The RFI should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than to gain the information requested for market research. The Government is not seeking proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals.

As with this advance notice, the RFI will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website (www.fbo.gov/). It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
