The objective of the project is to construct a six mile long segment of the Ridge Trail and an ADA loop trail in San Mateo County on SFPUC watershed land. The work is to be performed in San Mateo, California. Funding for this project may be provided in full or in part through an agreement with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) though California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) subject to the new Race Conscious DBE Program and local funds from the City and County of San Francisco. This Contract is subject to the latest Federal contract provisions as specified on the latest Form FHWA-1273 and required “Federal” forms associated with this contract. Bidders are advised that this is a federal-aid project subject to equal employment opportunity provisions and Caltrans Race-Conscious Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program. San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B LBE Subcontracting Participation requirements and Bid Discounts are not applicable to this Contract. The DBE participation goal is 23%.
