Description
The objective of this project is to effectively continue noxious weed management and treatment during the growing season through the use of chemical controls within the known and discovered noxious weed infestations on the Mountain Home Ranger District treatment area. Treatment areas will be focused in the Trinity Ridge Fire area that burned in 2012 in Elmore County and the Pony and Elk Fire areas that burned during 2013 in Elmore County. The overall objective of this project is to restore forest, rangeland and watershed health within the South Fork of the Boise River watershed and additional post fire areas.
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, transportation, supervision, supplies (except those designated as Government-furnished), incidentals, and perform all work necessary to provide noxious weed management and treatment in compliance with terms, specifications, conditions, and provisions of this solicitation.
The solicitation will result in a single award contract. The North American Industry System code is 115112 and is a set-aside for small business. This is a commercial acquisition; therefore, award will be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12.
