SOUTH PEACHTREE STREET PARKING LOT – NORCROSS, GA – 220322 5/03/23 CITY OF NORCROSS, GEORGIA 345 LIVELY AVENUE, NORCROSS, GEORGIA 30071 RFP NO: 02-06 SOUTH PEACHTREE STREET PARKING LOT ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the construction of the South Peachtree Street Parking Lot will be received, by the City of Norcross, at the office of the Public Works, Utilities, and Parks Department located at 345 Lively Ave, Norcross, GA 30071, until 2:00PM local time on June 2, 2023, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The project includes the following work: The Project consists of constructing an off-street permeable paver parking lot, on-street permeable paver parking lot, storm sewer infrastructure, a brick seat wall, site lighting, and pedestrian improvements. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis. Bidding Documents may also be examined at the Public Works, Utilities, and Parks Department, 345 Lively Ave, Norcross, GA, 30071 on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9 A.M. and 4 P.M. by appointment only. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the total bid amount. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. No proposal will be considered unless it is accompanied by satisfactory evidence that the Bidder holds either a Georgia State Contractor's License, Georgia State Utility Contractor's License, or qualifications with the Georgia Department of Transportation for similar work, in compliance with Act. O.C.G.A. 43-14 and 43-41. Failure to provide the bidder's license or qualification number on the outside of the sealed proposal will result in rejection of the bid. If the Contract is to be awarded, Owner will award the Contract on the basis of the base bid alone. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time of 120 calendar days.
