The Government is seeking sources to provide either one or both of the following items:

  • PP-8898/U,  Soldier Portable Charger (SPC), NSN 6130-01-495-2839, Bren-Tronics Part #  BTC-70801

  • Advanced Battery Charger (ABC), NSN 6130-01-660-3696, Bren-Tronics Part # BTC-70100

The Soldier Portable Charger and Advanced Battery Charger are chargers designed for standard military batteries. They utilize interchangeable adapters to interface between the charger and the battery. This is a follow on effort to contract SPRBL1-20-D-0053.

The Government is only considering fully qualified items which have been produced by Bren-Tronics, Inc. Authorized distributers are acceptable.

The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Special Notice or reimburse any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this Special Notice. This Special Notice is for planning and market research purposes only, and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government.
