AN/ALM 280 Enhanced Automated Special Test Equipment (EASTE) Software Updates, AN/ALQ-161A Subsystem Software Configuration and Engineering Test Support and Field Test Support (EWAISF)
PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION
The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements for the EASTE software updates and AN/ALQ-161A Subsystem Software Configuration and Engineering Test Support and Field Test Support (EWASIF). Our acquisition strategy is a five-year contract (basic plus four option years) and will continue through FY24.
The purpose of this task is to acquire updated software configurations for the EASTE, and to support all Preprocessor Flight Software (PFS) qualification and testing efforts. The EASTE is a ruggedized test system that conducts end-to-end tests and fault diagnostics on the B-1B Defensive Avionics Subsystem (DAS), including the AN/ALQ-161A. The AN/ALQ-161 is estimated to remain on the B-1B until 2043, requiring testing by EASTE for the duration. The PFS is the operational flight program (OFP) for the AN/ALQ 161A. EASTE software updates are required for corresponding PFS updates and to correct field-generated deficiency reports.
