The contractor shall support troubleshooting, repair, and testing of Mobile Chemical Agent Detector (MCAD) equipment including: MCAD sensorhead, Quickset-Pan-Tilt, Communication Power Assembly, Battery Charging Assembly, including MCAD peripherals.

Under the authority 10 USC 2304(c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, the government intends to issue a sole source contract to MESH Inc., 114 Barnsley Road, Oxford, Pennsylvania 19363-1159 as they are the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and the only vendor that can provide services and maintenance update on the owned equipment.

This is a sole source notice published for informational purposes only and not a request for competitive proposals.  However, all responsible sources may submit their technical capabilities, which, if received no later than 3:00 PM (CST) on 13 January 2017, shall be considered by NSWCDD.  All responses must be submitted to the government point of contact at the email address shown below. 

Responses must be submitted in writing to the procurement specialist, Janelle Tempalski, via email at [email protected] no later than the date and time noted above.  Email should reference Sources Sought N00178-17-R-2061 in the subject line.

A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
