The Cell Processing Section (CPS) requires a Thermo Scientific; Sorvall Legend XFR refrigerated centrifuge which has proven reliable, efficient and provides applications versatility for our stem cell isolation. This fits perfectly with our magnetic beads separation and spinoculation method. The Sorvall Legend XFR with bioliner rotors and carriers is proven to be the correct fit for the applications and prevent the loss of our patient care samples. It must be able to perform routine separations such as gradients and pelleting, blood component preparation, pelleting protein precipitates, and concentration of tissue and cell homogenates and lysates, etc. It is essential that the instrument be able to spin a variety of microtubes, tubes, bottles up to 1000ml, microtiter plates.
