This is a commercial item solicited in accordance with FAR 13.5.

This NSN is a not a critical application item nor is it a Critical Safety Item per SAP review on 8/21/15..  Solicitation will result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for a base year plus 4 option years. Solicitation is for a stock buy. Solicited as small business set-aside, with small business approved sources.  Pricing will be evaluated on the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD), which is 9,777 PG, PG=100 SH.  The guaranteed minimum quantity is 2,444 PG.  These quantities will be the same for the base year and all four option periods.  The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
