PUBLIC NOTICE The City of Kenner Department of Public Works is hereby soliciting the submittal of Statements of Qualifications from persons or firms interested in and qualified to provide professional engineering services for the following project: Sewer Lift Station Improvements: 42nd and Lake Trail and 31st and LoyolaGENERAL This project will be funded in whole or part by an EPA Lake Pontchartrain Basin Restoration Program Grant. The SOQ packet will include the project description, funding source and intended improvements of the proposed project, submission instructions and rating criteria. Interested individuals or firms can obtain a copy of the Statement of Qualifications packets by emailing The City of Kenner Finance Department at [email protected], or visiting www.Kenner.la.us and http://www.centralbidding.com. Completed packets are to be returned to the Finance Department at 1610 Rev. Richard Wilson Drive, Building D, Kenner, LA 70062 by hand, or by mail via USPS, Fed Ex, UPS, etc. no later than 11:00 AM. Thursday, May 19th, 2022. The City of Kenner reserves the right to reject any and all submissions. COMPENSATION The Individual, Consultant, or Engineering firm(s) will be required to prepare a topographic survey and preliminary and final plans and specifications for routine engineering services for the project, including the obtainment of necessary permits. Compensation for the required services will be made on a lump sum fixed fee basis per individual work task. All fees shall be negotiated by the City Department personnel and shall be mutually agreeable to all parties. All costs associated with the project shall be subject to City of Kenner review and Mayor’s approval. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR SELECTION The persons or firms under consideration shall have at least one Registered Professional Civil Engineer who has at least ten years of verifiable experience in sanitary sewer lift station design. The persons or firms under consideration shall have at least one Registered Professional Land Surveyor who has at least ten years of verifiable experience. The person or firms under consideration must employ a supporting technical and clerical staff.INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS Upon selection for a particular project, successful firm(s) shall provide insurance certificates in accordance with City insurance requirements for professional service contracts.
