Notice of Intent to award a sole source requirement to Jim Bush Sand & Gravel (1015 N Cameron Ave. Ajo, AZ, 85321-2035) for trash services. Jim Bush Sand & Gravel has been found to be the only contractor to be able to meet the requirements of the Ajo Station. Reasons why this is a sole source requirement are included in the attached justification and approval.

      This proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by Tuesday, March 20, 2020 at 06:00 pm Mountain Daylight Time. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
