Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a sole source requirement for Siemens PLM software as follows: 2 (two) each NX13210 MACH 3 PROGRESSIVE DIE DESIGN, 2 (two) each NX13210-M 1 YEAR MAINTENANCE FOR MACH 3 PROGRESSIVE DIE DESIGN, 2 (two) each UG10662 NX FREEFORM SHAPE SOFTWARE AND 2 (two) each UG10662-M 1 YEAR MAINTENANCE FOR NX FREEFORM SHAPE SOFTWARE. Firm Fixed Prices are being solicited.

This requirement is being issued as a sole source to SIEMENS GOVERNMENT TECHNOLOGIES INC 2231 CRYSTAL DRIVE, SUITE 700 ARLINGTON VA 22202-3724, or authorized distributors.

THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT OWN OR POSSESS SOFTWARE CODE AND/OR OTHER PROPRIETARY DATA REQUIRED TO ENSURE THE NEEDED SOFTWARE MAINTAINS 100% COMPATABILITY WITH EXISTING GOVERNMENT OWNED SIEMENS NX SOFTWARE. THE GOVERNMENT IS THEREFORE UNABLE TO PROCEED WITH A COMPETITIVE AWARD.

This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR 13. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N00164-14-T-0080; is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FedBizOpps for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
