This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals.  The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a sole-source, one-time, firm-fixed price contract to:  RSA Security, LLC, 174 Middlesex Turnpike, Bedford, Massachusetts, 01730 for booth space at the RSA Conference 2022 in San Francisco, California.  There is only one source for securing a booth for the RSA Conference 2022 and that is the RSA Conference Organizer.  The North American Classification System Code is 561920, Convention and Trade Show Organizers.  This is not a request for quote as no other booth space will meet the FBI’s requirement.  The authority for this sole-source contract is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), “Soliciting from a single source. (1) For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. (i) Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.”
