USDA-ARS, Pullman, WA intends to award a sole source purchase order to Waters Corporation, 34 Maple St, Milford, MA 01757 for a TransOmics Metabolic Kit, Metabolic Solution Installation Kit, PGS STD Server, and On-Site Field Apps Ed Cert.

Waters Mass Spec. instruments have been used to generate data on wheat rhizosphere metabolome and the requested equipment is needed to analyze those data. The requested equipment complements existing Mass Spec. Instruments used within the research unit. The requested equipment will ensure continuity of research on the rhizosphere metabolome of dryland and irrigated wheat.
Our justification to award is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)

6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
