Sole Source Intent. The United States Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Yuma Proving Ground, U.S. Army Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract on a sole source basis with Campbell Scientific, Inc., located at 815 W. 1800 N. Logan, Utah 84321-1784. This requirement will be for the purchase of following items: CR300 Logger (Qty 10 ea.), PTB110 Barometer (Qty 10 ea.), SR50AT-L25-PT (Qty 20 ea.) and SR50A Mounting Kit (Qty 20 ea.). To ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure and meteorological instruments, the parts required need to be manufactured from Campbell Scientific. These Campbell Scientific parts will ensure that USAYPG continues to utilize all of the existing programs which have been built and developed exclusively for Campbell Scientific microloggers. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and 13. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
