Naval Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Union Leasing, Inc., in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source. The organization’s requirement is to lease 2006 Crown Victorias (Quantity: 11) with security up fit for a base year and four option years. Currently, these vehicles are on lease with Union Leasing, Inc. The Crown Victorias are no longer made, but continue to be an essential resource for law enforcement personnel. In addition, the vehicles have low mileage and are in excellent good condition. The leasing of these vehicles will be at a lower cost compared to new leased vehicles. This is not a solicitation or a request for quotes. Interested parties can provide capability statements by 9:00 am EST on 17 June 2011. The capability statements must be in sufficient detail to determine whether a competitive proposal should be conducted.
