THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Department of Air Force, Hickam AFB HI, intends to solicit and negotiate a contract for 1/20 scale replica fiberglass KC-135 Stratotanker Model Aircraft on a sole source basis. Statutory authority for this sole source procurement is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). The requirement shall include: two (2) 1/20 scale replica KC-135R Stratotanker Model Aircraft, Aircraft will be full fiberglass construction. Size specification: 81.7 inches long, 78.5 inches wide and 29.3 inches in height, one model will have hang points and the other will include tripod floor stand, Aircraft will be painted in the Hickam AFB paint scheme w/ tail number 57-1508. (pictures attached) with shipping to Zip Code 95853. The applicable NAICS code is 339932. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. However, the Government will consider responses from all responsible sources received by the date and time identified below. Any interest party, other than Factory Direct Models, that feels they can satisfy this requirement must identify their interest, experience, and capability to satisfy the requirement no later than 28 Sep, 2010, at 12:00pm Pacific time.
