a. Scope of Services. ISI will provide the following Standard Support Services for the Software:
i. Periodic updates of the Software that may incorporate (A) fixes of bugs, and (B) enhancements to the Software.
ii. Telephone support for diagnosing software problems, including dial up support, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, to assist the Office of Satellite Operations in using the Software. However, such telephone support shall not be a substitute for training in the operation and support of the Software.
b. Response Time. ISI will issue fixes and/or updates in due course or upon the next release of the Software.
c. Definition of Services. "Corrections" or "fixes" that are to be provided by ISI may include a bypass, detour, or patch, rather than a problem fix.
d. Hardware Exclusions. Integral Systems, Inc. is not responsible for software anomalies caused by new hardware introduced into the system by the Office of Satellite Operations. If the Office of Satellite Operations elects to take new Software releases, the Office of Satellite Operations assumes responsibility for hardware upgrades that may be necessary to support the enhanced features included in a release.
Interested parties who believe that they can meet the Government's requirement are requested to submit in writing an affirmative response; all responses must include detailed technical information and other technical literature demonstration the ability to meet the above requirements. In your response, you must address each of the items listed above in sufficient detail to permit agency analysis to establish a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. Failure to submit documentation will result in the Government proceeding as stated above. A determination by the Government not to open competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Affirmative written response must be received no later than fifteen days after publication of this notice. The award for this requirement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12 procedures. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. The period of performance shall be for twelve month/one year, and no option periods beginning on/around January 26, 2010.
