Solicitation N00421-11-T-0472 is issued as a synopsis/solicitation. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a brand name sole source basis. Under FAR 6.302-1 and the authority of FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. Manufacturer must be Rajant. Request is set-aside for Total Small Business under the authority of FAR Part 52.219-6. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All proposals received by September 19,2011 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
