The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Directorate of Contracting, Edwards Air Force Base, California intends to award a commercial purchase order to Society of Experimental Test Pilots (SETP). Market research was conducted via the Internet and contact was made with other Test Pilot Schools and staff members to determine whether there are other sources that provide this training. This acquisition is for student and staff member attendance at the SETP Symposium. This annual symposium educates attendees on current flight test programs with emphasis on promoting future test efficiency and flight safety through the promulgation of lessons learned regarding the safety, design and flight testing of aerospace vehicles and their associated systems.

This action will result in a purchase order to support the United States Test Pilot School. SETP is the only known source identified for procurement of this service. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 611430 and the size standard is $7,000,000.
