The 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron at Hurlburt Field FL intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to BAE Systems.- Line Items 0001 and 0002: 0001-SOCET GXP Pro-Bundle (Classified), Part# 4014-C and 0002-SOCET GXP Commercial Pro-Bundle Upgrade Entitlement, Part# 4014-UE. This award is unrestricted and is under North American Industry Classification System Code 511210 with a small business size standard of $35.5 million. This sole source action is being accomplished under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The government believes that BAE Systems, is the only known source that has the patented, proprietary, commercial product and design expertise to provide Line Items 0001 and 0002. This notice is NOT a request for quote. However, interested companies shall submit to the contracting officer a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 10 pages in length, single spaced, 12 point font minimum) demonstrating ability to perform the requested services at or before 4:00 PM (central), 3 September 2013.
