The purpose of the SOC/CSIRC requirement is to provide technical support services to improve the ability of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to detect and respond to security threats. To provide support needed to perform monitoring, detecting, scanning, recording, auditing, analyzing, investigating, reporting, remediating, coordinating, and tracking security-related activities for ICE Local Area Networks (LANs) and Non-Steward Extranets.

Information concerning this requirement was inadvertently sent to several unknown sources requesting socio-economic information. However, at this time, ICE, Office of Acquisition (OAQ), Information Technology Services (ITS) has neither determined the acquisition strategy for this requirement, nor requested capability statements. OAQ/ITS will be issuing a Request for Information (RFI) for this requirement no later than October 24, 2012. The RFI will request the submission of capability statements and other pertinent information which will help OAQ/ITS determine the SOC/CSIRC acquisition strategy.

Notification to GSA IT Schedule 70: 132-51 -Vendors for Information Technology Professional Service
This is a special notice to inform interested parties that the above notice of a Request for Information (RFI) is posted to the GSA Information Technology (IT) Schedule 70 SIN 132-51 for possible Request for Quote for some time in the future. This notice is to inform all interested parties that only those companies who are GSA contract holders for IT Schedule 70, and have SIN 132-51 on their contracts shall be able to access the RFI.
NO contract award shall result from this notice.
