Problem or need:
Describe in detail what work is required to be completed:
Snow machine to groom cross-county ski trails. We currently groom with the Ski-doo Expedition 1200 cc snow machines. These sleds work until the temperature is about 30 degrees, then they over heat. They also are not equipped to groom at night (the optimal time to groom for best results.
We need a snow machine designed for grooming that has a lower gear for grooming. We also need a machine that has an oversized radiator and that does NOT rely on a heat exchanger (the heat exchanger is between the track and the seat and uses the snow to cool the engine) to cool the engine. When grooming we move too slow to get snow on the heat exchanger, therefor we over heat.
