ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS NOTICE is hereby given that the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Southaven, Mississippi will receive written sealed bids until the hour of ­­10 o’clock a.m. local time, on September 26th, 2024 at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Southaven, at the following address: Southaven City Hall 8710 Northwest Drive Southaven, Mississippi 38671 Received Bids will then be publicly read aloud in the City’s Board Room at 10:15 a.m. local time. Bids are for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the construction of that certain project designated as “Snowden Grove Electronic Message Sign” Project Documents are on file and can be viewed at the office of the City Clerk. Bids are for all labor and materials required for construction of a LED video board. Construction will also consist of electrical, masonry, concrete, and minor grading in the City of Southaven, Mississippi. The total Contract Time will be 90 consecutive calendar days and the liquidated damages will be $600.00 per consecutive calendar day thereafter.
