Any business capable of completing these services is encouraged to respond to this announcement. All contractors doing business with the National Weather Service Central Region must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). This is a Government initiative that was designed to replace CCR, ORCA and EPLS. No award can be made unless the vendor is registered with SAM. Vendors shall provide at least two (2) references with the completed solicitation, addressing that you have provided the same or similar service in the last 2 years. The references provided must include detailed contact information (point of contact, phone number, and address at minimum). Past performance is a significant evaluation factor that will be used to arrive at a best value award decision.
All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. An award resulting from this RFQ will be made based on best value for the government. Best value will be determined by a combination of past performance and price. Faxed quotes will not be accepted.
