PUBLIC NOTICE SNOW AND ICE CONTROL DEICING CHEMICALS CENTRAL IOWA DEICER GROUP (CIDG) Administered by City of West Des Moines Public Services Sealed bids will be received by the City of West Des Moines, Iowa, as the representative for the Central Iowa Deicer Group (CIDG) on or before 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2023, for the following: Bid Item: Snow and Ice Control Deicing Chemicals Bidders shall submit their bids in a sealed envelope, plainly marked "Snow and Ice Control Deicing Chemicals”, and deliver to: Office of the City Clerk City of West Des Moines 4200 Mills Civic Pkwy, Suite 2B PO Box 65320 West Des Moines, Iowa 50265-0320 Information may be obtained from the Department of Public Services, 8850 Grand Avenue, West Des Moines, Iowa by contacting Bret Hodne, CIDG Administrator, at 515-222-3480. Bids received after the announced time and date of receipt, by mail or otherwise, will be returned unopened. Unit price shall be final and the CIDG reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive nonmaterial irregularities and technicalities as determined to be the best interest of said CIDG. Nothing herein is intended to exclude any responsible contractor or in any way restrain or restrict competition. The City of West Des Moines (CIDG Administrator) reserves the right to award in part or in whole. The CIDG Group may elect to award a multi-vendor contract based on unit prices and other factors, including but not limited to references, past experience, product availability, and product performance.
