Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) Range and Network Division (SMC/RN) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) program released the notice of contract action on 18 February 2015 which notified industry of its intent to release a solicitation on or about 11 March 2015.

SMC/RN invites industry to a pre-solicitation teleconference on 3 March 2015 at 1:30-2:30PM PST. The purpose of this pre-solicitation teleconference is for the RN SE&I team to convey final changes to the solicitation and emphasize RN's goals and objectives. Due to the immediacy of the solicitation release, SMC/RN will consider feedback; however, no direct responses may be provided to any written comments submitted.

Yeh at [email protected] to request teleconference dial-in information, no later than 3PM PST on 2 March 2015. A teleconference number will be provided to all respondents. SMC/RN will be inviting industry to a telecom within the next two weeks to introduce our new program manager, Major James Crane, and to discuss our path forward; the invitation will be announced on FBO. ***** The Range and Network Division is pleased to release the formal RN SE&I Draft Request For Proposal (RFP) to industry for your review. This is a major step towards final RFP release expected to occur within the next two months. The Government welcomes your feedback; however, we request only comments that relate to any fundamental flaws in the solicitation; please provide by 4:00 PM PDT on Tuesday, 3 June 2014. Your previous comments and feedback have been heard, and the updated sections within this draft RFP reflect your concerns.

The two major draft RFP updates surround domain knowledge and its associated evaluation criteria. Additionally, the scenarios have been updated to reflect the types of efforts found in the RN enterprise, but we have removed the domain knowledge specific aspects. The Government is committed to competition towards obtaining the best concepts and implementation.

Rules of Engagement:
Industry Day one-on-ones will be scheduled in 20-minute or 50-minute time blocks. If you would like to schedule a 50-minute session, you must provide a list of questions to the Government.

All one-one-one requests must be submitted no later than 4:00PM, 1 NOV 2013.
