Overview:
The DISA, Workforce Management Directorate (WMD) is seeking information from potential sources capable of providing services to the government for the SmartBenefits® Program. The requirement provides government employees with access to the SmartBenefits mass transit program. The government will further be provided with electronic auto load and reloadable capabilities for DISA to assign value to Smart Trip cards for the employee's authorized to participate in the SmartBenefits mass transit program within the NCR.
Description of Procurement:
The Government has a need to offer DISA employees access to the SmartBenefits program; services for commuting and transfers between Metrobus and Metrorail with coverage throughout the Washington D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia region. The unique components of the SmartBenefits Program include the SmartTrip plastic cards. These cards are electronically reloadable, SmartTrip cards that can be registered online and transferrable benefits. Participants are able to use their SmartBenefits to take advantage of benefits in commuting transfers between, car-pooling, metrobus and metrorail services.
