THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS.  The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Pacific will use responses to this sources sought synopsis to make appropriate acquisition decisions for the planned single award Fixed-Price with Economic Price Adjustment (FP with EPA) Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order (IDPO).  After review of the responses submitted regarding this potential acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be published in Federal Business Opportunities if and when the Government intends to continue with the procurement.

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Pacific is seeking sources to provide various types of small purchase market-ready subsistence specialty items to support Department of Defense (DoD) Troops & Ships customers on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.  Types of small purchase market-ready items include meat, poultry, seafood and frozen vegetables, dairy foods, bakery/cereal products and condiments and related products.  Examples of such items include: Chilled beef loin, frozen beef oxtail, frozen Portuguese sausage, frozen frankfurters, whole chicken, frozen cut-up chicken, chilled boneless pork butt, whole roast pig (lechon), frozen boneless lamb legs, frozen whole duck, frozen mahi-mahi fillets, chilled whole tilapia, frozen fish mussels, frozen shrimp tempura, canned corn beef and canned salmon; frozen breaded okra, zucchini and tater tots, canned pineapples, canned pineapple juice and canned apple slices; cheese (Monterey jack, provolone) and canned milk (evaporated and condensed); oriental dry goods (jasmine rice, pancit bihon, canton noodles), cake mix (gingerbread) and polenta; frozen coconut milk and hard candy mints; guava jelly; chilled potato and macaroni salad; oyster sauce, sriracha sauce, cholula sauce, hot sauce, salt and pepper shakers, Hawaiian salt, garlic spice, Montreal steak and chicken seasoning, adobo spice mix, sesame oil, peanut oil and mustard flour.  This list provides a sampling of items historically ordered and is by no means a comprehensive list.  Prospective offerors must have the capability to provide ALL market-ready subsistence specialty items.

The proposed single award Fixed-Price with Economic Price Adjustment (FP with EPA) Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order (IDPO) will be for a 12-month period, with a ceiling of $210,000.  Deliveries will be made to DoD Troops and Ships customers on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.  The applicable NAICS code is 311615, Poultry Processing, and the small business size standard is 500 employees.  Interested parties shall provide the following information to the Government: (1) Name of company - include company address, a contact person's name, telephone number, and email address; (2) Company size (please specify as either large, small business, etc.; (3) Describe in detail the firm's capability to provide small purchase market-ready subsistence specialty items.  Respondents should include applicable Duns and Bradstreet Number (DUNS), Tax Identification Number (TIN) and System for Award Management (SAM) Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code number.
