INVITATION TO BID – SLIPPERY ROCK UNIVERSITY UP-462: McKay Life Safety Generator Replacement Slippery Rock University of the PA State System of Higher Education invites HVAC and Electrical Contractors to download bid documents for this project. Work included under this project consists of replacement of the existing natural gas generator, transfer switch, and emergency panelboard in the McKay Education Building. The Johnson Control System work will be performed by O.Z. Enterprises under a separate contract directly with the University. Work shall be accomplished by multiple Prime Contractors, and shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all construction identified on the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of, and subject to approval of the Professional and the University. A Non-mandatory Pre-bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on March 25, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the McKay Building Room 010 Auditorium which is located at 105 Maltby Avenue on the campus of Slippery Rock University located in Slippery Rock, PA 16057. The Pre-Bid Conference is not mandatory but highly recommended. Due to campus restrictions, only one representative from each company should attend the pre-bid meeting, mask and social distancing is required while on campus.
