Iowa State University of Science and Technology (ISU) is soliciting information from qualified contractors who may be able to provide the equipment described therein. The Histology Laboratory within the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory at Iowa State University requires the use of a high throughput, fully automated, continuous, open system slide stainer for immunohistochemical (IHC) and in situ hybridization (ISH) staining on diagnostic and research animal tissue. The purpose of this RFI is to identify commercially available equipment that can meet the highly specialized requirements of the Histology Lab. Contractors who sell equipment that meets ALL requirements advertised within should respond to this RFI. If multiple potential contractors are identified through this RFI process, all qualified contractors would be invited to participate in a full RFQ process where they can submit full proposals for their equipment. ISU is not interested in offers for equipment that do not meet the minimum requirements at this time. Contractors should read all materials carefully and note the due date. Contractors must direct all questions and comments in reference to this RFP/RFQ to the University Representative listed.
