This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

Solicitation No. RFQ AG-05H7-S-10-0025 is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) using the policies prescribed in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation, and award prescribed in FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

This solicitation is 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industrial classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 453998 and the small business size standard is 7.0 million.

This RFQ is for supplying 2.16 million square feet of kraft paper to cover slash piles in order to keep the piled material dry. Paper must be water resistant, non-toxic, and burnable. Once the slash piles are covered, the paper needs to last for several months while the materials in the piles cure. The paper needs to come in rolls for stretching over piles and portability. One person needs to be able to carry a roll over forested ground. Width of rolls should be from 36 to 54 inches, i.e. rolls of 1200 sq ft (4' x 300') would be ideal.

Pricing should include equal delivery of half of the order to each of the following two sites by September 18, 2010.
