STATE OF MISSISSIPPI COUNTY OF UNION NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Union County Board of Supervisors will receive term bids through a reverse auction in the Board of Supervisors Office at 108 East Main Street, New Albany, Mississippi on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 beginning at 10:00 a.m. for the following county supplies for the period of time beginning January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021: Slag and Aggregate at the plant, and the sizes to include are #1, #4, #6, #7, #56, # 89 and #89M, Crusher Run (CR), (with sizes #89, #89M, #7, #56 to meet Mississippi State Aid Road Specs) and these shall be priced by the ton. 2. Liquid Asphalt (CRS-2, and CRS-2P to meet Mississippi State Aid Road Specs). The bidder shall submit a bid price by the gallon. 3. Liquid emulsions for the production of stockpile Cold Mix that will remain pliable for 6 months. The bid should reflect a delivered price to the Union County central shop priced by the gallon. 4. Cold Mix mixed on site at various Union County locations within the county by the gallon with the county supplying all rock associated with the onsite mixing of the cold mix. The cold mix supplier will supply all other materials, labor and equipment needed to mix the cold mix by the gallon. 5. Cold Mix by the ton loaded on Union County trucks at manufacturer’s plant. The Board will allow the successful bidder to adjust price in accordance with the price adjustment clause as authorized by MS Code Section 31-7-13(i) for road construction petroleum products. All bidders must pre-qualify and register by submitting proposals to participate in the Reverse Auction by confirming that they have the ability to furnish to the county quality supplies as advertised, in quantities to meet the county’s demand and in a timely manner. Bidders will have until 5:00 pm, November 10, 2020 to register and pre-qualify. Bidding will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 beginning at 10 am.
