The 802nd Contracting Squadron, Lackland Air Force Base intends to award a purchase order to Skydive San Marcos, for the acquisition of sky diving services and maintenance for 23 August 2013 - 30 September 2013, which consist of Tach hours for Twin Otter Aircraft (2EA), Lift Tickets IAW Statement of Work (SOW) (50EA).  The proposed requirement is for San Marcos Skydiving Program which the Government intends to award one source under authority of FAR 13.  Skydiving San Marcos (SSM) is the closest facility that offers this unique service.  SSM is located approximately 90 miles from Lackland AFB TX.  SSM is crucial to the successful and safe operation of the 342 TRS mandated military parachute requirement IAW 11-410, Personnel Parachute Operations.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.  However, the government will consider all proposals received within ten business days after publication of this notice.  No solicitation or request for quote is available.  Other interested small businesses may submit their qualifications and price lists from Donna Pimentel, at e-mail: [email protected].
