The 802nd Contracting Squadron, JBSA Lackland Air Force intends to award a purchase order to Skydive San Marcos for the acquisition of Sky diving Services and Maintenance for 7 Oct 13 - 30 Sep 14 plus 4 option years which consist of Tach hours for Twin Otter Aircraft (8EA), Tach hours for Cessna Caravan Aircraft (6EA), Freefall Inspection pack, Tandem Repack (25EA), Lift Tickets (250EA), USPA Membership (20EA), Freefall Reserve repacks (50EA), Freefall Main Inspection (50EA) all in accordance with Statement of Work.  This requirement is for San Marcos Skydiving Program which the Government intends to award as sole source under FAR 13.  Skydiving San Marcos (SSM) is the closet facility that offers this unique service.  SSM is located approximately 90 miles from Lackland AFB, Texas.  SSM is crucial to the successful and safe operation of the 342 TRS mandated military parachute requirement IAW 11-410, Personnel Parachute Operations.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.  However, the Government will consider all proposals received within ten business days after publication of this notice.  No solicitation or request for quote is available.  Other interested small businesses may submit their qualifications and price list to Donna Pimentel at email:  [email protected].
