The 37th Contracting Squadron, Lackland Air Force Base intends to award a purchase order to Skydive San Marcos, for the acquistiion of sky diving services for a basic year and two one-year option periods, which consist of Tech Hours for Twin Otter Aircraft (8EA), Tech Hours for Cessna Caravan Aircraft(6EA), Freefall Reserve Inspection and Repack(4EA), Freefall Main Inspection and Repack (26EA), Freefall Main Repack only(100EA),Tandem Main Repack(6EA).  The proposed requirement is for San Marcos Skydive Program which the Govrnment intends to award to one source under authority of FAR 13.  The Air Force SCUBA School is composed of Combat Control and Pararescue Instructors who are required to meet mandated parachute requirements.  Skydive San Marcos (SSM) is the closest facility that offers this unique service.  SSM is located approximately 90 miles from Lackland AFB TX.  SSM is crucial to the successful and safe operation of the 342 TRS mandated military parachute requirements IAW AFI 11-410, Personnel Parachute Operations.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.  However, the government will consider all proposals received within ten business days after date of publication of this notice.  No solicitation or request for quote is available.  Other interested small businesses may submit their qualifications and price lists to Elizabeth Perez, at e-mail: [email protected].
